Hey there!!

So A Date With Death has surpassed 200 downloads and I'm incredibly happy.
This is the most viewed, downloaded and interacted game I've ever done and it makes me incredibly glad.

I've been wondering if I should do some updates to the game and actually flesh it out, but I'm still indecisive since I made this game as a joke on gameplay stereotypes and the meaning of death in games, and I worry if I make it bigger the joke will become less funny.

If you guys have some ideas of whether you would like to see a full version don't forget to tell me either here or on my twitter <3


Also as a small thanks for getting the game this far, here are some behind the scenes of how the characters came to be


Player (sketch to final)
The player was going to have hands and shoot spells out of them, but given the small deadline that would be too much work that I could put somewhere else, so he became handless

Death (sketch to final)
Death basically remained the same all throughout, originally he was going to be expressionless since a skull doesn't have muscles, but that made it hard for the player to relate to him so I decided to make his eye sockets change expressions.

Enemy (sketch to final)
The main enemy of the game was originally just going to be a generic demon, but I thought that looked boring so I started making random shapes until this abomination came out, originally I wanted to have multiple enemies, but time constraints didn't allow that.

And finally here's the sketch that started it all.
